Palm Beach County Hispanic Heritage Month proclamation event, September 2025

Last Tuesday I had the honor of attending the proclamation event with the Palm Beach County Board of Commissioners, where they officially declared September 15 to October 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month. It was a beautiful gathering of Hispanic business owners and leaders who are making an impact in our community every day. Standing among so many inspiring people, and alongside Commissioner Joel Flores, the first Hispanic commissioner of our county, was a proud and memorable moment.

This year felt even more special because one of my dear friends and clients was recognized for her work in the community, with her face featured on a county bus. Her story is one of many that remind us of the resilience, dedication, and contributions of Hispanic business owners and leaders in Palm Beach County.

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate our culture, our history, and our presence. For me, it is also a reminder of why I started Macondo Marketing + Branding. As a bilingual marketing studio, my mission is to help businesses of all kinds grow and connect with wider audiences, while offering the unique advantage of working in both English and Spanish. Representation matters. The voices of Hispanic entrepreneurs matter. And creating brands and marketing strategies that reflect who we are continues to shape the future of our communities.
